Pebble Theatre
in Allentown!

Circle of Stones Ritual Theatre Ensemble is thrilled to be offering their children’s outreach program, called Pebble Theatre, this summer in downtown Allentown. Pebble Theatre is partnering with the Allentown Public Library, Casa Guadalupe and Old Allentown Preservation Association to give inner-city elementary and middle school students the fun, empowering, and participatory experience of performing a play. Circle of Stones Artistic Director Pana Columbus will write and direct three original plays for the students to perform, Circle of Stones Music Director Scott Eggert will compose original music for the plays and Guest Artist Anisa George will choreograph the dance numbers.

The content of the plays are school curriculum-based. We are working with Allentown School District teachers and administrators to learn what skills students need support with in math, reading, social studies and science. These lessons will be integrated into the play to support and empower students to experience learning as fun.
